Simply Safer is seeking a self-motivated individual with an active interest in Environmental Health to take up our newly created apprenticeship role. As an Apprentice Environmental Health Practitioner you will be given the opportunity to study, part time for a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Health at Middlesex University whilst undertaking on-the-job learning in the workplace.

Environmental Health Practitioners work across a diverse range of areas that may include food safety, health and safety, environmental protection, noise control, pest control and housing standards. Simply Safer will provide you with on the job experience and will support you in working across all areas (including partnering with Local Authorities).

To apply for an apprenticeship, you will have achieved (or be predicted and awaiting results) a minimum of 3 A levels or equivalent including at least two science based subjects drawn from: Chemistry, Biology, Human Biology, Physics, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Nutrition, Food Science. Each A level should be at Grade C or above.
Our Apprentice Environmental Health Practitioner will support the work of our lead EHP onsite and our Associates. You will have good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to be able interact with the public and businesses in face to face situations. Effective time management skills as we operate a virtual office so candidates should be comfortable with home-working.
